- There will be a small Admission Fee of $5
For RTN Member Schools, the costs are:
- Registration Fee: $15.00 (per dancer)
- Per Dance (Solo or Group): $10.00
- Championship Event: $40
- Art/Music/Soda Bread: $5 per entry
For non-RTN Member Schools, the costs are:
- Registration Fee: $20.00 (per dancer)
- Per Dance (Solo): $15.00
- Per Dance (Group): $10.00
- Championship Event: $50
- Art/Music/Soda Bread: $5 per entry

Competition Syllabus
- Dancers may select as many options as they would like. Dancers are also able to dance at multiple levels. There are no limits on how many group dances a dancer may dance. The dancers enrolled in the levels below will be separated into age levels (including adult level) - age groups will be combined to try to create groups of 5 or more dancers. Dancers may be dancing to a LIVE musician for the solo competitions. Before registering for the competition, please refer to the complete Rince Tuatha Nua Solo Dance Rules for more information.
Solo Dance Options
Beginner through prizewinner dance two steps (32 bars) in each solo dance. Dancers must perform the right and left foot of BOTH the first step and first set of traditional dances. Preliminary and open champions will perform 48 bars in reel, trebel reel and treble jig, and 40 bars in slip jig and hornpipe. Dancers must perform the right and left foot of the step and right foot of the set for both Traditional and Non Traditional set dances.
- First Feis: Light Jig OR Reel (1 step only, open to competitors under 7 who are competing for the first time)
- Beginner: Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, Single Jig
- Intermediate: Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, Single Jig, Traditional Treble Jig, Traditional Hornpipe
- Novice: Reel, Slip Jig, Traditional/Slow Speed Treble Jig, Traditional/Slow Speed Hornpipe, Traditional Set Dance
- Prizewinner: Reel, Slip Jig, Treble Jig, Hornpipe, Traditional Set Dance
- Champion: Combined Event consisting of one hard shoe, one soft shoe and non traditional set dance. Other competitions may include solo specified soft shoe, specified hard shoe and Traditional Set Dance.
- *Note: There will be an Adult age category for each level when applicable
- Two Hand or Three Hand Figure - Limited to 48 bars of music plus 8 bar introduction
- Four Hand Ceili - Four Hand Ceili dancers will be limited to to dances in the "An Rince Foirne"
- Six Hand Ceili - Six Hand Ceili dancers will be limited to to dances in the "An Rince Foirne"
- Eight Hand Ceili - Eight Hand Ceili dancers will be limited to dances in the "An Rince Foirne"
- Freestyle Group - Freestyle Group dances can be danced to any music and must be a minimum of 2 1/2 min and
maximum of 3 min. Traditional or non-traditional costumes may be used. Music must be edited to time and G Rated.
